It’s always nice to work on a project that is close to your heart. Cornell Lab of Ornithology were producing a film to highlight the risk of industrial development on the island of Papua New Guinea. They needed map graphics that would show new roads and deforestation on the island, over time.

I worked with 422 South to create 3D maps using real satellite photography and data. The maps needed to match the gentle and poignant feel of the film, whilst delivering the firm message of urgency.
